Overview
|
The Team Leader is a key member of Solutions Development Team and is responsible for providing technical leadership to application development team.
|
|
|
Responsibilities
|
- Work in tandem with project manager to execute the project as per Solutions' Processes and Protocols
- Support project manager in effort estimation and project planning
- Perform project activities assigned to the Team Leader role in Solutions' Project Process and Protocol. Primary among them being software analysis and design
- Assign and monitor tasks
- Provide technical leadership to the project team and help resolve technical issues
- Work closely with team members to ensure conformity with standards set in Solutions' Project Process and Protocol
- Participate in setting development standards and encourage use of best practices during project execution.
- Facilitate creation and validation of project artifacts assigned to the Team Leader role in Solutions' Project Process and Protocol
- Support project manager in defining the Configuration and Change Management plan
- Provide detailed project status information to project manager
- Coordinate with various project stakeholders to facilitate timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor process and ensure compliance with Solutions' Project Process and Protocol.
- Escalate non-compliance to project manager
- Foster a healthy, collaborative team environment
- Be a mentor to developers

Experience/Skills
|
- 4+ years of total experience
- Strong technical concepts on J2EE, EJB, Servlet, JSP, RDBMS- preferably SQL server.
- Knowledge of at least one application server - preferably Weblogic. Application and Database design experience.
- Knowledge on J2EE Design Patterns, BEA- Weblogic Portal, Ant, IntelliJ IDEA IDE is desired.
- Experience with managing project inter-dependencies and managing resources
- Should have demonstrated capability of providing technical leadership to a team.
- Experience with issue resolution
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
|
- B.E./ B.Tech / MCA from Premier Institutes.
|
