Overview
|
The Business Analyst plays a key role in Solutions' Development Team and is responsible for business analysis and application development. Business Analyst aids in the management and coordination of the design, development, maintenance, support and implementation of business applications.

|
Responsibilities
|
- Work with various project stakeholders and team members to develop functional specification documents.
- Update functional specifications, as required, to include enhancements and/or version upgrades.
- Assist in the development of time & cost estimates and project timelines.
- Develop process flow charts for use by application developers and as a section of the functional specifications.
- Assist in the development of quality assurance testing specifications and user acceptance testing based upon the business requirements.
- Own the technical requirements specification for future developments and enhancements to these applications.
- Maintain and update requirements definition documentation and participate in testing enhancements and fixes and to oversee documentation of this testing.
- Remain alert to the whole project lifecycle, especially in the areas of communication, quality assurance, project management, and project support and to assist the Project Manager in developing and delivering communication, project, quality and risk management plans.
- Develop and maintain a high level of communication with client and all team members.

Experience/Skills
|
- Strong analytical skills and experience.
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, including strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the group's knowledge of and concern for users' business needs.
- Hands on knowledge of systems implementation and their associated products, as well as general computer literacy is required, as is significant systems development and integration experience.
- Must possess a general technical awareness--should be able to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business; should be experienced in the strategic use of technology in managing a growing business.

Qualifications
|
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline/or work experience.
- 3+ years in System and Business Analysis.
